Deskrawl Market and Trading: Eligibility, Listings, Recovery

Trading is useful only when the character, item, and account are eligible. Verify Online Mode first, document valuable listings, and use a non-destructive recovery checklist when something appears missing.

Pass the market eligibility check

  1. Confirm the hero was created in Online Mode.
  2. Confirm the Steam account owns the game under the current 1.0.0h rule.
  3. Launch through the current Steam client and wait for a stable connection.
  4. Check that the item category is equipment, material, or minion and is actually marked tradable.
  5. Avoid a listing while Steam Cloud or the game reports a sync problem.

Prepare every valuable listing

Before listingRecord item name, rarity, affixes/effect, quantity, and a screenshot.
Price checkCompare active listings and recent context; never publish a fixed “correct” price.
While listedDo not repeat the action on another valuable item if the first listing is unclear.
After sale/cancelVerify the result in the market, game inventory, stash, and carriage before relisting.

If an item appears missing, follow one path

Do not delete, rename, copy, or overwrite save files as a market diagnostic. A server or sync symptom does not justify risking the local character.
  1. Stop listing or cancelling other valuable items.
  2. Check the current hero mode and connection status.
  3. Inspect inventory, stash, carriage, active listings, completed listings, and cancelled listings.
  4. Wait for Steam Cloud to finish before restarting once through the library.
  5. Record the time, item details, and exact sequence for official support or the discussion report.

Trade only when the opportunity cost is clear

A rare minion may be worth more to your account as a permanent build tool than as a sale. A good rune or affix combination may remove hours of farming. Compare the market value with the progress the item unlocks before listing it.

Prices and availability change continuously. This guide links the official market feature but does not freeze a price table that could mislead players minutes later.

Treat Online and Singleplayer as separate commitments

Current official material does not promise conversion or synchronization between character modes. Family Sharing, Free Weekend, and PC café licenses were restricted to Singleplayer eligibility in patch 1.0.0h.

Choose Online Mode when market access is part of the plan. Choose Singleplayer when independent progress matters more. Do not begin a long character expecting an undocumented transfer later.

Source and confidence note

Trading equipment, materials, and minions on the Steam Market is an official feature. Patch 1.0.0h officially requires an owned copy for Online Mode. Missing-item recovery steps are cautious responses to player reports, not a promise that every item is recoverable.
